Heartland Enterprise Centre Singapore (HECS) was established in 2019 as a subsidiary of The Federation of Merchants’ Associations, Singapore (FMAS). Fully funded by Enterprise Singapore (ESG), HECS is dedicated to revitalising the heartland by empowering local merchants and enhancing the vibrancy of our town centres.

HECS previously relied on hardcopy BAS forms, which often resulted in scattered or outdated information. Data duplication was common, and consultants had difficulty maintaining a consistent and centralised record of SME engagements.

Benefits

ERPNext addressed these challenges by digitising the BAS process through a structured BAS web form. With built-in user access controls, each consultant can now access only the cases they are responsible for. The addition of approval workflows ensures that every advisory submission is reviewed and processed smoothly.
